Biography

As Assistant Vice President, University Registrar, and Director of the Summer Session, Chuck Hurley is responsible for academic records management operations that are vital to the life of Notre Dame. Since returning to Notre Dame in 1996, Chuck has held a variety of roles in the Office of the Registrar including systems analyst, assistant registrar and associate registrar. 
 
Chuck graduated undergraduate from the University of Notre Dame in 1993 with a bachelor of arts degree. He earned a master's degree cum laude from the Mendoza College of Business in 2001. He also earned a master's in Theology from the Graduate School in 2007. Prior to attending Notre Dame, he earned his Associate of Arts from Holy Cross College in 1991.
 
A native of South Bend, Indiana, Chuck and his family continue to live in the area and are involved in a variety of community activities. He is married to Superior Court Judge the Honorable Liz Hurley.
