CIF - Course Instructor Feedback
Notre Dame students are asked to complete Course Instructor Feedback (CIF) online surveys for each of their classes. The University uses CIF information to ensure our students have the very best learning experiences possible.
Please take a few minutes of your time to provide honest and constructive feedback on your classes. Your feedback and the feedback of your classmates will be used to provide:
- Constructive comments to your instructors on how they might improve their courses in future terms
- Candid assessments of teaching effectiveness that will promote continuous improvement in pedagogy
Students who complete the Fall Semester CIF for all courses (available Nov. 29-Dec. 11*) will be able to access their course grades online on December 20, 2022. For those who do not complete the CIFs for all of their courses, the University reserves the right to place a hold on their academic records preventing them from accessing their Fall 2022 final grades, GPS (degree audit), and transcript viewing and ordering from Tuesday, December 20, 2022 until Monday, December 26, 2022.
Students who complete the Spring Semester CIF for all courses (available April 25-May 7*) will be able to access their course grades online on May 16, 2023. For those who do not complete the CIFs for all of their courses, the University reserves the right to place a hold on their academic records preventing them from accessing their Spring 2023 final grades, GPS (degree audit), and transcript viewing and ordering from Tuesday, May 16, 2023 until Monday, May 22, 2023. All dates are subject to change if the University adjusts the Academic Calendar.
